AMELIA LARSON

Amelia, born in Almaty, Kazakhstan and raised in Granville, Ohio is a New York based dancer. She earned her BFA at the University of the Arts in 2022 and is a recipient of the Presidential Scholarship for Dance Performance. She began her dance studies at age seven at BalletMet academy in Columbus, Ohio. At age 15, Amelia became a ballet trainee at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City. She then transferred to the Vassiliev Ballet Academy in New York City as a member of the International Training Company, completing her studies in 2018. She next enrolled at The University of the Arts, notably studying under Donna Faye Burchfield. Amelia has attended numerous workshops and intensives. This winter the Ate9 Workshop led by Danielle Agami, Kyle Abraham’s Winter Program, B12 summer program 2021/2022 in Berlin, Germany, Share Intensive in Paris in the summer of 2022, the winter Gagalab in New York in 2022, and Sidra Bell’s Winter Module in 2021.
